Welcome to 2016! We hope everyone had a wonderful break!
One of the best parts of being a university museum is the connection we get to make with undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Mississippi through tours, classroom partnerships, and internships. We are always excited to see where interns take their museum experience after graduating, and today's posts features a project by '14 grad, Mary Kate Keappler, who interned in our education department for three years before graduating and pursuing her MA in Museum Education at the University of Florida.
Not only did Mary Kate add so much to our programs while she was an intern, she recently designed a "Mapping Your Museum" project for her graduate studies based on the UM Museum! Check out this guide, print a copy, and come experience the Museum when we reopen this week, Tuesday, January 5th at 10 a.m.!
