Spring 2017: Mark your Calendars

Happy New Year! Our team is gearing up for an exciting semester of programming here at the UM Museum, and as we finalize dates we wanted to take a moment to look ahead to upcoming programs.

As dates may change, we encourage you to check on our website or Facebook for updates or email museum@olemiss.edu to be added to our email list. Interested in bringing your students to the museum or having a traveling trunk visit your classroom or program? This semester we will feature the following special exhibits: 
"The Beautiful Mysterious: The Extraordinary Gaze of William Eggleston,"  on view through February 18th.

"Dunhuang through the lens of James and Lucy Lo" (January 10- April 29, 2017)


"Lasting Impressions: Restoring Kate Freeman Clark" (March 28- July 22, 2017)






In addition to tours and outreach programming, we also have extensive public programming for audiences of all ages. Mark your calendars for the following programs!

RebelWell Yoga in the Galleries

RebelWell Yoga in the Galleries returns January 23rd and will be held each Monday (with the exception of Monday, March 13th) at the UM Museum. FREE! Please bring a mat.

First Friday Free Sketch Days
Drop in the first Friday of each month (2/3, 3/3, 4/7, 5/5, 6/2, 7/7) to use free sketch materials and a gallery stool in any of the museum's galleries. (Self-guided)


On the Silk Road: Family Activity Day
